Lockout/Tagout Labels
While not specifically mandated by OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.147, a comprehensive Energy Control Program should include a visual element. Some of those applications may be:
- Posting the standard Lockout steps to provide a constant reminder of the generic Lockout Procedure.
- Identify the points of isolation of the various energy sources
- Reminding authorized employees to follow the Lockout Procedure for the equipment prior to beginning servicing or maintenance.
